Q. How long does it take to buy a business in Spain from start to finish?

A. Buying a business in Spain is not a very lengthy process like it can be in many countries. There is paperwork involved, licences et. but luckily for you, we are experts at handling the steps required to buy a business in Spain. The main steps involved can take you from a prospective business buyer to a Spanish business owner in a matter of a week or two. Spain has been criticised in the past for an overburdening on potenital business owners of paperwork, however that is the old way and these days Spain has streamlined systems which make buying a Spanish business easier than ever!

Q. What are the costs associated with buying a business in Spain?

A. The cost of buying a busines in Spain can generally be broken down as follows; Normally the feeds for the papaerwok of the lease etc. can be from €600 to €1,000. On top of this you have a cost of €600 for obtaining an opening licence (rquired when buying a Spanish bar or restaurant), registration at the treasury costs aroun €150, if you do not alredy have residency papaerwoek, this will cost around 100 euros for the lawyer to do the papers. Then there is the cost of changing the name of the Opening Licence. So all in all the cost of buying a business in Spain can br from €2,500 - €3,000 depending on your circumstances, certainly cheaper than most countries.
